How Our Scholarship Works

At The Fuerza Foundation, we believe scholarships are just the beginning.

Each year, we award scholarships to Latino male high school and college students who show:

  • Academic potential

  • Leadership in their communities

  • Strength in the face of adversity

But this isn’t just about tuition — it’s about transformation.
Our scholars receive comprehensive support that includes:

  • One-on-one mentorship with professionals who understand their journey

  • Community networking with peers and alumni

  • Personal and academic coaching to stay on track and thrive

💬 "We’re not just helping you get into college. We’re walking with you through it—and beyond."

We’re looking for Latino male students with the drive to succeed — even when the odds are against them.

You’re eligible if you:

  1. Identify as a Latino male

  2. Currently a high school Junior/Senior in the Tampa Bay Area

  3. Have a minimum

    • Unweighted GPA of 3.0

                           or

    • Weighted GPA of 3.75

  4. Submit a completed application

Undocumented and DACA students are encouraged to apply.
